Silca Jean Baptiste describes herself as a babysitter at Lott Carey School. Her position is similar to a para-professional or classroom aide here in the United States. She helps out with Lott Carey's littlest learners in the preschool rooms.
Silca has two children; a son and a daughter. She has been with Lott Carey for one year and is very grateful for her job. Lovensky is her ten year old son, and he's in the 3rd grade there. He loves math and soccer. When he grows up he wants to be a doctor. Naika is her seven year old daughter, and she likes to study. She also likes to eat rice and beans for lunch at school. When she grows up she wants to be a nurse.
Silca and her children live with her boyfriend who works as a moto taxi driver. She likes helping care for the preschoolers. She asks for prayers for her to be blessed by God, safety, and enough money to feed the children.
