Student Sponsorship

Student Sponsorship

Haiti Kids School Student Sponsorship Program strives to make a lasting impact by providing the children with education, medical care, nutrition, opportunity, and hope for their future. Serving the poorest children in the region; education and nutrition are a vital role in the development and survival of these kids. Lott Carey not only provides education for the 360 attending students, but they also provide each child one meal a day. Often this is the only meal these children will receive.

We are in need of more sponsors! Please prayerfully consider stepping forward with our other current sponsors to make a difference in the lives of our students at Lott Carey School. A student sponsorship is $35/month and provides the essentials for us to assist with education, health, and nutrition needs of all students.

Wilmide Resilien

Sponsored!
ID # 469-4264
Wilmide is an exciting little 5 year old girl who loves to run and play. She is in preschool at Lott Carey School. While visiting them, her favorite place was in the lap of any person willing to sit down for a few minutes and be with her. She lives with her 13 year old sister, mom and dad.

The father is a security guard at a shop, but they do not make enough money to buy food, water, and coal for cooking. The family has reported that they have not had food consistently and only rice recently, but not daily. They are very grateful for the meals their kids receive at school knowing it provides the nutrition they need.

They live in a new block home that was donated by the church. They have to walk 2 blocks to get water. They have 3 bigger sheets of plywood in the house that they cover with blankets and use as a bed. They use a bucket behind the house for a toilet. In their house they have 3 chairs and a table.

They own one sheep and would like to get seeds to plant food by their house.

Ketchmay Miche

Sponsored!
ID # 742-854
Ketchmay is 15 years old attending Lott Carey School. She and her two brothers live with their grandmother. The four of them live in a house with 2 beds. She loves learning about physical science. Her grandmother walks an hour to get their water.

They currently have no source of income. During our recent home visit, Ketchmay and her family were not able to eat the day before as a result of not having enough food. Ketchmay suffers from headaches and colds. She doesn’t make it to the doctor very often so they try to treat it with oils and herbs in tea. Ketchmay continues to attend school in hope of a better future for her and her family.
